Well, Victor is on vacation for the time being, so I haven't had much of a chance to have any new Sidetalking posts, but I've been trying to get through some games I'm playing. I'll start off by saying that Ninja Gaiden for XBOX is R-E-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. I'm 1/3 to 1/2 way through and I have to say, some parts of this game have challenged me in ways that I never thought imaginable: from insane bosses in the first two levels to the random attacks by 5 Ninjas with incindary shuriken.
Mario 64, which I never had when I was younger started seeing less and less play time as I got into Ninja Gaiden. The game just seems tedious now, doing essentially the same thing 15 times. It just didn't hold up as well as the NES/SNES games. Getting more stars feels like more of a chore than a challenge, and getting the camera stuck in a wall proves to be exceedingly frustrating. BUT, my girlfriend enjoys playing it, and i'm happy that she's interested in my hobbies.
GTAIV... what else do I need to say. I don't get to play it enough however. My girlfriend doesn't like the game at all for moral and ethical reasons, so I try to play it only when she's not around. Many people criticize GTAIV for removing the customizablity of San Andreas, but I think it works alot better. Too much of a good thing can be bad, and San Andreas' features seemed like too much of a distraction.
Wii Sports is still sitting in my Wii. That gets played so much that I haven't had a chance to start Super Paper Mario. I'm gonna hold off on starting too many games, so once I'm done with one of the previously mentioned games(probably finish Ninja Gaiden first, or power through Mario 64 to get it out of the way) I'll start up something new.
